Note that in the Yorùbá language, respect is important.

Some phrases change depending on who you are addressing. In Yorùbá language, we use the same phrases for many people and people we respect. These phrases are usually include the [ Ẹ ] word.

For our peers or people younger than us we use O instead of Ẹ.
